Polymer matrix composites

Thursday, Octobre 22nd (02:00 PM, GMT+2, Paris time) – Webinar – From structure to performance of polymer matrix composites with thermal analysis

In efforts to improve the performance of materials dedicated to advanced applications, organic or inorganic fillers are incorporated within the matrix of polymers. The dispersion can strongly affect (in a positive or a negative way) the properties of the polymer, such as its chain mobility, crystalline structure, conductivity and thermal stability.

This webinar will highlight how these polymer composites can be characterized by thermal analysis (TGA, DSC and STA). Multiple examples will showcase how polymer composites can be polymer electrolytes in batteries, built-in sensors or more eco-friendly materials.
